Balance
Though a particular concern for older people, everyone can benefit from exercises that improve your sense of balance. In particular, younger people who have sustained even mild injuries to the feet, ankles, or knees should work to recalibrate their balance, as their bodies, during the healing process, may have subtly changed this perception to compensate for the injury.

Begin by standing on one leg with your hands on the back of a chair. When you can do this without wobbling, do the same thing, but without the chair. As your balance improves, turn your head from side to side as you stand on one leg, and when you're able to do that, try doing it with your eyes closed. For the ultimate balance challenge, try bending the one leg you're standing on to lower yourself until you can touch your fingers to the floor.
